Using interactive technology to make learning fun for students

The Library Media Center at Jonesborough Elementary School is alive with the sounds of learning. Our K-4 students are creating and publishing their own podcasts. TigerPod is an exciting school-wide project that showcases learning activities through student reflections, performances, reactions, and classroom projects.
Each TigerPod episode includes grade level segments from kindergarten through fourth grade. These student-created programs are enhanced podcasts complete with background music, jingles, and sound effects– as well as graphics, student artwork, and related web links.
