The training sessions by Carol will be all the held online in Google Meet.

HOW TO JOIN: At the class time, open Google Meet from your Google Apps button or go to meet.google.com. Use the Join Code: spring2025. It's the same Join Code for all trainings.

ONLINE CLASS TIPS

Don't come just to watch. Plan to participate in the guided lessons in which we are usually producing something or an outcome that is useful. If you have the ability to do so, I recommend you use two devices: one to connect to our Google Meet class and the other, not in Google Meet, to work on and follow along. With this setup you can see my screen and yours at the same time. Devices that can connect to Google Meet are: phones, PCs, laptops, Chromebooks, Viewsonic Boards, Cleartouch Boards, iPads, & Macs. If you don't have two devices, you can use two browser tabs: one for the Google Meet class and another to work on and follow along. 

ABOUT YOUR TRAINER

These classes are taught by Instructional Technologist, Carol Birkner, who has 25 years' training experience with Washington County.
