Hello and Welcome to 1st Grade  My name is Kathy Bronstetter. I have been teaching since 2001. This is my 9th year teaching First Grade at Gray School and I absolutely love it! Before that,  I taught Kindergarten, 2nd, and 4th grade. I have been married 30 years. We have 3 wonderful children. Our twin boys are 27 and Haleigh is 15! She is a competitive swimmer with the Barracuda Swim Team.

I also teach group Exercise at the Wellness Center in the mornings before school. I enjoy running, cycling and swimming. I was a competitive swimmer and cheerleader growing up in Indiana and Tennessee. I have run several marathons and 1/2 marathons over the past 20 years. 

My favorite TV shows are: Yellowstone, Chicago PD and FBI!! I have been known to watch Columbo lol too on Saturday nights!!!

I was born in Augusta, Georgia! Go Dawgs!! Growing up, my family has lived in Oregon, Indiana, and Tennessee. 

My hubs is from Michigan (Go Wolverines)! He is a Nuclear Medicine Technologist and an MRI Tech! He is fabulous at his job.

When I am not working, I am at swim meets or XC meets. We love to eat out at Black Olive, Cheddar's, and Aubrey's just to name a few.

My favorite drive through is Dunkin!

Whenever we get the chance, we go to the beach! We love the warmer weather and cannot wait to have our happy place at the beach!

 I enjoy teaching and love meeting my students during Open House! My goal is to build strong relationships with my students and their families.
