Welcome to PE with Coach Painter!

I am excited for this new school year with you in 2023-2024!

 This is my 6th year teaching Physical Education here at Grandview, where I am the lead teacher for Pre-K through 3rd grade and co-teacher for 4th-8th grade. This is my 7th year teaching PE overall. I also coach the Grandview girls basketball team. Our team won the Tennessee State Championship in 2022!

I grew up in Blount County and graduated from Heritage High School. I moved to Northeast Tennessee and graduated from Milligan University with a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, an emphasis in Physical Education, and a minor in Coaching in 2017. I completed my master's degree from Tuculum University in Education- Curriculum and Instruction. Outside of school, I enjoy working out, fishing, kayaking, hiking, gardening, canning, and being on the lake with my husband. I am proud to be an Eagle!
