My name is Sarah Hackney, and I LOVE teaching children skills through play!  My assistants and I enjoy helping children learn through stories, songs, art, and games.  Our goal is to have our children ready for kindergarten by teaching them to work well with others, complete academic tasks, and communicate their thoughts and ideas.  We desire to help all our children reach their own personal potential no matter what their disability.  

Just in case you’re curious…I attended ETSU and have both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education as well as an Early Childhood Special Education Endorsement.  I’m married and have two teenage boys and two little lap dogs.  I love to be outside playing with them or just porch sitting with friends and family.  One of our favorite things is to explore the beautiful mountains of Tennessee.
