Greetings Cherokees!

I am so excited about another great year as the Assistant Principal at Lamar School! I have been in education for 14 years and have taught elementary and middle school Art as well as Digital Arts at the high school level. I became an administrator in 2021 as the Associate Principal at Jefferson Elementary in Kingsport before joining the Lamar family. I have a Bachelor's degree in Art Education from ETSU, a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from ETSU, and an Educational Specialists degree from the University of Tennessee.  

My husband, Hayden, is a Kingsport Firefighter and we live on about 4 acres in Sullivan County. We do not have any children, but we have a passion for rescuing dogs and we currently have four. I have 5 older brothers who have blessed me with 6 nieces and nephews that I love dearly. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time at home with my family, riding my Peloton and gravel bike, gardening, cooking, watching football, and doing anything creative.
