Washington County Schools is excited to announce that Dr. Robin Street has been named the new principal at Jonesborough Elementary School beginning December 23, 2024. In addition, Mr. Aaron Christian has been named the new principal at West View Elementary School also beginning December 23, 2024.
Dr. Street
Dr. Street has served for the past six years as the Principal of West View Elementary. Under her leadership, West View Elementary flourished, and Dr. Street built a strong school community focused on continuous improvement, collaboration, and high academic standards. West View has been recognized as a Reward School four of the last five years. While at West View Elementary, she also earned the title of Washington County Principal of the Year during the 2022-23 school year.
Now, as she returns to Jonesborough Elementary School, Dr. Street is excited to reconnect with the community where she began her educational career. While she will miss the dedicated educators she worked with at West View, she is eager to bring her leadership skills, passion for education, and vision for student success back to the school where her journey started.

Mr. Christian
Mr. Christian states that “I am excited to join the West View Elementary School community as its new principal. With a deep passion for education and leadership, I am committed to fostering a nurturing and dynamic learning environment for both students and staff.”
Mr. Christian brings 16 years of experience in education, having worked in various roles that have shaped his approach to leadership. His goal as principal is to create an inclusive, collaborative, and forward-thinking school culture where every child can thrive. He looks forward to partnering with teachers, staff, parents, and students to continue building on the strong foundation at West View Elementary.
