Hello, I am Mrs. Ladd and I will be teaching third grade reading and social studies at West View. I obtained my Bachelors Degree from ETSU. This will be my seventh year teaching. I completed my student teaching in first grade in Elizabethton. I have taught third, fourth, and second grade in Washington County. My goal is to create a safe and engaging learning environment for my students. I truly want them to love coming to school. My mother taught for 38 years in Washington County. My father worked in education for over 30 years as a teacher and then a principal. My parents are the reason I have such a passion for educating others. I have high expectations for every child I teach. I believe high expectations lead to students' success and confidence in themselves.
