Hi friends!  My name is Rachel Jarrett and this is my 26th year teaching kindergarten at West View!  I graduated from ETSU magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a concentration in early childhood. I live in the West View community with my husband, daughter, and three cats.

My goals for your child:
~ to succeed in Kindergarten, 
~ to see learning as fun,
~ to have a productive struggle and a growth mindset, 
~ work in large, small groups, and independent and 
~ learn to regulate their emotions.
We will read books, sign and dance, and use hands-on materials daily.   We are going to have so much fun!
