West View School Nurse: Jessica Hartley, LPN

Hi, my name is Jessica Hartley. I am the school nurse at West View. I came on board at West View on February 3, 2023. I'm very excited to be at West View, as this is the Elementary School my family has attended for 3 generations. Also, my husband, Steve attended here as well. We began "dating" in 8th grade at West View and have been married for 25+ years.

I was a stay at home mom until January 5th, 2020. During COVID, I went back to school at TCAT in Elizabethton and graduated as a Licensed Practical Nurse. My husband Steve is currently a Paramedic with an Associate's of Applied Science in Public Safety. He works for Washington County/Johnson City EMS as a Senior Paramedic. Steve is also a Pastor of a small church in Surgoinsville, TN when he's not working on the ambulance. 

We have 3 grown children & 2 bonus daughters: Kailey our daughter, Kai & his wife Rachel, Kaden & his wife Haley. Our children attended West View as well. Kailey is finishing up college at ETSU. Kai is in the Army Reserves & works for the Army. Kaden is employed with the Forestry Service as a Wildland Firefighter. 

We love the outdoors. We float and fish the local river. We also enjoy riding our ATV on ATV Trails in the local region. We love to travel and visit new places. Our favorite place so far is the Gulf Coast side of Florida.

We hope to be more involved with the West View Family in the upcoming years! I look forward to getting to know your students and family!
